On Saturday, March 28th the Student Real Estate Association was given a tour of downtown Baton Rouge with local developer Trey Godfrey. Mr. Godfrey, who is a partner of Vision City Development Group, led members throughout multiple developments that his company has developed, and also gave an inside look at the future of Downtown Baton Rouge. 

On March 10th and 11th the Student Real Estate Association visited the International Council of Shopping Centers Gulf South Idea Exchange in New Orleans. In addition to multiple networking opportunities, members were able to sit in on panels and round-table discussions led by industry professionals. The event ended with a large deal making event, which allowed members to visit tables to network with various companies that are involved in the real estate industry in the Gulf South.
